We follow a concise set of deliverables declared by Daniel Park’s superb Camtasia certification training program and best practice techniques (Chris Mattia’s Camtasia video course) in the preparation of training video-based workshops or video shorts:
- Brief: Specifies the strategy and goals of the video project.
- Script: The voiceover and presentation used in the video project.
- Storyboard: For each component, a visualization roadmap for the component is created.
- Video component: The actual component is recorded, edited, annotated, and produced.
The final video production is created from video components with voiceovers, transitions, effects, and background music. This approach enables a consistent theme for all video projects. Components can be selected and stitched together to produce the final video:
All video projects start with planning documents that should reduce the risk of missteps. We take pride in being fast and efficient. We use studio quality stuff (Blue Designs, Logitech, Adobe, The Omni Group, Reallusion, BeyerDynamic, and TechSmith) in all of our work. In fact, the biggest obstacle may be my subdued Southern accent.
